rmdir
Delete empty remote directories.
Syntax
Section titled “Syntax”rmdir <remote-directory>...Deletes each named directory. Most servers refuse unless the directory is
empty; to delete a directory with its contents, use rm.
rmdir accepts only directories, which guards against deleting a file by
mistake.
When the site has a remote recycle bin configured, the directories are moved there instead.
